United for Uganda supports student sponsorship

U4U Sponsoring Students

Vocational Sponsorship
is a transitional program that creates a bridge to self-sufficiency.

Unite with Us and give the gift of a bright future!

Vocational Sponsorship

U4U is committed to building on the already thriving programs for children operating in Uganda. We plan to launch phase two of our Vocational Sponsorship Program in Q4 of 2023.

Vocational Sponsorship continues the work of other sponsorship programs and helps young Ugandans take a successful step towards a career.

Will you unite with us in this effort?

"The master said, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant.  You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities.  Let's celebrate together!'"

Matthew 25:23

We've Already Started...

Working alongside our missionaries, Tim and Colleen Stevenson, we began this work informally only in the last year or so. We have already helped many young people who reached the end of their formal education to learn a trade such as hair dressing, tailorship, baking, catering, and working with leather goods.

"I am really so grateful because now I can see that the future is really bright. At least now I can glimpse what I can do in the future!"

Having Options Changes
Everything.

Dependent upon the program itself, these future entrepreneurs participate in a 12-24 month training program. In addition to perfecting their trade, these young adults learn how to run a business and launch their micro-industry.

The trajectory of a person’s life is altered through Vocational Sponsorship. Those who have few options are trained, equipped, and given resources that will allow them to support themselves and their families.

Stay tuned as we develop this life-changing initiative!

"My wife and I were so excited to be able to directly provide, in Jesus name, the vocational tuition of a bright young Ugandan woman.  U4U made it simple for us to donate the very reasonable tuition costs for her to attend the local fashion school.  We got to see pictures of her with her sewing machine and even had the opportunity to correspond with her.  It's been such a blessing to our family to be able to play a small role in sharing God's love and helping our sister in Christ pursue economic security."
